Summary
The test results for this cartridge were somewhat troubling. In five tests, the test cartridges all failed to chamber after between 6 to 8 shots. I have no explanation for this (other Corbon ammunition fared far better); perhaps these are a particularly hot load that just don’t perform best in a small gun. Velocity was over 1350 fps — considerably faster than other ammunition in this bullet weight. Perhaps the disparity in testing results can be partially attributed to these higher velocities.
I imagine that this is a fine cartridge for hunting, but perhaps not the best choice for a lightweight backup gun.
